If you're in the market for a home (buying or selling) Todd McElroy is the realtor for you. He is very professional, trustworthy, responsive, respectful, attentive, caring, punctual, and really puts you first/makes you feel like a priority throughout the whole process. He made the entire home buying process for me much easier and less stressful than I had anticipated as a first time home-buyer. He showed up 10 minutes early to the first ever showing with comparable sheets of listings and sales in the area, specs on the home, and relevant information on the area/neighborhood (school district, HOA info, etc.). He always made things work to my schedule, whether it was showings, inspections, walk-throughs, etc. No matter if it was a weekend, week day, he made it work, he got things scheduled and he even went to an inspection on my behalf. He worked whatever hours necessary and responded to me day or night, when making offers and assisting to meet deadlines on homes. He always put in his advice, but did not force or sway me one way or the other. He was the perfect balance of advice, listening, and helping guide me to the decisions that was best for me and ultimately my own decision for which he just coached or guided me through. He really puts you as his client, first, and that is apparent throughout the entire process working with Todd. He took on a lot of responsibility and really let me enjoy the process moreso than being stressed by it. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I required recommendations for other service providers and had an excellent network of other highly reputable and high performing professionals. The inspectors, lenders, and other professionals that Todd recommended all were incredible as well. I can't imagine having gone through this process with any other realtor. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the real estate market. I cannot say enough good things about Todd. After working with Todd to find my first home over the last 5 months or so, he is not only a trusted adviser in the real estate space and the only realtor I will ever use if I buy or sell again in the area, but he became a friend during the process. Lindsy was great! She was a huge help in narrowing down an appropriate listing price and had our house sold with the least amount of stress possible. The day we received multiple offers, was her day off and she had a personal event to attend but she took the time to communicate with the agents and with us to ensure we received the best offer. She kept things easy and professional. Highly recommend!
We were out of town and decided to put our house on the market when we contacted Lindsy. She went above and beyond to prepare our house for sale. After doing a walk through of our house she gave us recommendations on what to improve to get the most for our house. She even helped coordinate contractors to get all the issues with the house fixed and was onsite to oversee the fixes. After a week of being on the MLS we got $30k over our asking price. We had the great fortune of working with Dave and Kristie as part of a corporate relocation. Moving from Oklahoma to the Puget Sound region, the housing market and the overall construction of homes was significantly different. Naturally, the greater the number of unknown variables going into a decision, especially one as big as the purchase of your future home, the higher the associated stress with making the decision. Rather than being annoyed by our naivety concerning some regional nuances, Kristie and Dave were extremely patient, kind and went above and beyond to help us learn so we could actually understand why one option may be superior to another as opposed to just telling us or being completely agnostic. They were exactly what we had always hoped a realtor would be; they shared their wealth of knowledge to help us feel confident in the decision we reached, but at the same time gave us the time and space to arrive at our own conclusions. They took what could have been a very stressful situation and made it extremely enjoyable. As a result of this perfect balance, there were no surprises at any time during the process.
